Quality DesignWorks and Quality Plumbing donated a custom outdoor kitchen as a raffle item to raise funds for Taste of Gainesville benefitting several local children’s charities.

The Issa’s beautiful outdoor space is now complete, and they have been enjoying entertaining family and friends.

“We had a group over for Labor Day and made our own gourmet pizzas in the pizza oven,” Betty Issa said. “We are really enjoying the outdoor kitchen. I can’t say enough about the wonderful people we worked with from Quality DesignWorks. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and as you can see, they do great work.”

The custom outdoor kitchen was built out of a 2×4 metal frame construction with .5-inch Durock sheathing. Eldorado stacked stone was used for the outside of the kitchen with stainless steel access doors. The appliances included a 36-inch gas grill, pizza oven, stainless steel under mount sink, and under counter refrigerator. The countertop is Royal Gold granite. Included in the build were the plumbing, water and drain connections, electrical outlets and gas modifications.

Thank you Raymond & Betty Issa for supporting our efforts at the 7th Annual Taste of Gainesville by placing the winning bid for the Custom Outdoor Kitchen, donated by Quality Plumbing and Quality DesignWorks.

We enjoyed working with you on this project, and it was even more special since the funds it raised directly benefited some amazing organizations helping children throughout our community: Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure, Pace Center for Girls of Alachua, Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida, and Child Advocacy Center.
